At the start of a new season there’s always this excitement of trying out the quintessential activities of the year. And this weekend’s 70 and sunny spring weather was perfect for taking a stroll over the Key Bridge to Theodore Roosevelt Island. I took the trip with Keely over to the island from Georgetown – the journey really is a great combination of city walking, scenic waterways and nature trails.
And quite the refreshing mini-hike! I snapped a few close-up shots of Teddy himself:
Then captured the view looking over to the Georgetown waterfront:
In other springtime essentials, this week I enjoyed some rooftop gatherings, shorts & t-shirt outdoor runs and the start of allergy season – yikes!
