To help switch up my indoor workouts, and try out new studios in the area, I’ve been testing out ClassPass for a month trial. ClassPass is a subscription service where you gain access to a selection of fitness classes at various studios throughout the city, rather than joining multiple boutique gyms. It’s so fun to see what other workout options are out there! So far I’ve tried SculptDC, FlyWheel, Blast, Barre3 and Zengo. The surprising standing has been Barre3 (Saturday’s class with the super hot commute to their studio in Georgetown). The session was a mix of pilates and barre techniques which definitely got me working different muscle groups, and somehow made 2 lbs. weights feel like Gold’s Gym dumbbells. Looking forward to the next 5 classes to try!
In other news, I got in a photo with Lesley, Claire, Beth and Kelsey on our weekend night out:
And whipped up a few more fast-casual bowls for a delicious week of homemade meals. This one here pairs grilled chicken with an Israeli couscous side dish of orange and red peppers, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic and a bit of Italian seasonings to taste.
I’ve also continued snapping floral photography to brighten my camera roll. No filter.
