2. Getting to casually explore both Hoboken and SoHo with the locals.
3. And sipping and brunching our way through a few earthy-crunchy hot spots. I really embraced my iced-coffee habit on the trip, and the non-Dunkin’ Donuts locations were absolutely delicious. Shown below soaking in the java at bwè kafe in Hoboken; a later caffeine fix took us to Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee.
Another culinary highlight: The Grey Dog, a casual neighborhood restaurant with an assortment of elevated basics, aka the menu of my dreams. Dramatic, but my Roasted Turkey & Brie, with plum tomatoes and raspberry mustard was just that good.
